Policies and General Information
Orders
New accounts must place first order with Sales Representative. We will accept telephone orders for stock items, but accept no responsibility for errors unless written confirmation of order is received prior to processing order. Orders for custom, lettered, or braided orders must be in writing. Please check acknowledgements carefully. Southland must be contacted immediately if customer finds errors or needs clarification.
Pricing
All prices in catalog are suggested retail prices. All prices are subject to change without notice. Orders will be invoiced at current prices at time of shipment.
Small Orders
Minimum order for custom pinstriped garments is 6 pieces made from the same fabric. Small quantity charges will apply for fewer than 6 pieces of same style garment. Special order and customized stock items: add 100% to price for single item; add 25% to price for only two items; add 15% to price for three to five items. Same small quantity charges apply on lettering and trim as on garment.
Service Charge
A $20.00 service charge will be added to any invoice less than $100.00 list.
Changes or Cancellations
ORDERS FOR CUSTOM AND CUSTOMIZED STOCK GARMENTS RECEIVED AND ACKNOWLEDGED BY SOUTHLAND ARE CONSIDERED FINAL AND CANNOT BECANCELLED. Once an order has been released for production, any request for an order change or revision must be received in writing, reviewed and approved by Southland. Any revision to an order approved and accepted will be subject to a service charge of $100.00.
Samples
Samples are available at regular dealer cost. If returned within 30 (thirty) days and can be returned to stock, a full credit less shipping will be issued. Specific sizes, colors, or color combinations cannot be specified for sample orders.
Delivery and Returns
Southland will make every effort to adhere to customers requested delivery date. We will not be responsible for expedited shipping costs to meet customers requirements. No drop shipments can be made for COD customers. All drop shipments are counted by two people prior to shipment so no shortage claims are accepted. Any claim for shortage or manufacturing defect must be made within five days of receipt of order. Merchandise will not be accepted for returns or credit without prior approval from Southland. If we approve return of stock items for credit or exchange there will be a 15% handling charge. Any merchandise returned for inspection must be washed or otherwise cleaned. We will not accept soiled garments under any circumstances. Stock items cannot be returned if they have been worn or washed. Defects in athletic garments become obvious immediately. Southland cannot be responsible for replacement, repairs, etc. caused by normal use.
Terms
Standard terms are Net 30/FOB factory for customers with approved credit by Southland. Special discounts and dating are offered in certain situations. Any available discounts are not allowed on payment made past terms. Past due accounts will be subject to maximum late charges allowed by law. Past due accounts will be placed on credit hold. Orders will not be accepted or shipped until account is current. Southland accepts Visa and MasterCard.
Sizing
Many custom garments are made in even chest and waist sizes are to be ordered as such. This is done to ensure the best possible fit next to custom tailoring. We can make custom orders in alpha sizes if the customer requests. Stock merchandise is made in both alpha and numeric sizes. The applicable size is shown in the description below the garment. Additional charge for oversize items is indicated. Oversize charges on numeric sized garments are as follows:

Additional length added to sleeves, body or inseams carries a $2.00 per inch surcharge.
Shading and Color Matching
Southland strives to maintain uniformity in our materials but, unfortunately, dye lots will vary. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee exact color match between garments we manufacture. There can be slight variations between different fabrics used in the same garment. We make every effort to minimize shading but, on occasion, it is unavoidable.
Care and Handling
Any garment, regardless of the level of quality, will deteriorate if not cared for properly. Label instructions must be followed if the garment is to retain its color and durability. The effects of high temperature and chlorine bleach are extremely damaging to any material, particularly nylon. Soiled garments should be washed and dried immediately. Moisture from perspiration or washing will allow even the best dyes to run.
