Our K32F “Faux Front” Jersey: Where Cool Meets “Cool”

When picking out a baseball or softball jersey, different players have different priorities.

Some view style as the most important factor. Others focus on comfort. For many, a material that helps you stay cool under fire trumps all other considerations.

Of course, you can have it all. That’s our goal at Southland, and it’s also the idea behind our brand new K32F design. It’s a pullover “faux front” jersey with a two-button placket and contrasting piping outside of the facing and down the front to simulate the look of a full button shirt.

Stylish? You bet. Comfortable, too. And, to top things off, the 100 percent polyester “mock mesh” fabric features Ultrawick moisture management, sure to help you and your team stay cool under fire.

List price is $30 for the adult jersey, $26.00 for a junior version. These are special order and available only through Southland dealers, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get them in time for this season. After all, we’re pretty good at turning these things out. Expect a delivery time of two weeks.

A Legendary Performer: The K74 Baseball Pant

Don’t just bring your best baseball bat and baseball glove to the park. You need to have the right uniform as well, and it all starts with the pants. Our K74 has become a legend in a game of legends — admired for not only its comfort, but also it’s impressive durability.

When your players take the field, they need to look good and feel good. We’ve engineered the K74 to cover all the bases.

Our K74′s success starts with the material — woven in our U.S. factory and made of the finest nylon/cotton blend.

What makes the K74 special? It’s unique combination of comfort, absorbtion and durability. Cotton on the inside provides the first two elements, and nylon assures that the material will hold up under the most aggressive usage.

We came up with the idea in the 1960s, and its popularity has grown ever since. Early on, we reserved our 74 material for special orders, but we eventually expanded it to our stock pants, which have become one of our best sellers.  We also use 74 in our basketball warmups, replica football jerseys and pinstripes.

Players and coaches swear by it. Parents do, too. You can find cheaper pants on the market, but plan on buying four or more pair to get through a season. With our K74 pants, you won’t have to worry about sliding or diving to make a play. Your pants will come up looking every bit as good as you do.
